Street Food Market 2013 is Street Market Theatre: Food Vendors, authentic street stall, cocktail slingers, chickens, goats, bicyclists, car clubs, street dancers, musicians, a Burro Bar and much much more mingling all under one roof.
Enjoy live music from TodoMundo, Bulevar Descarga and other surprise entertainment, adult beverages and refreshments for all ages, local art, and tours of the 92,000 square foot market property while you support the creation of San Diego’s own Public Market.
San Diego’s full time, permanent market (think Pike Place, Redding Terminal Market or La Boqueria) will launch the middle of this year, filling a high-ceilinged former boiler factory with farm fresh produce and eggs, fish and meats, dining adventures, cheese making, salumi curing, tortilla slinging, chocolate tempering, coffee roasting, bread baking and more.
Street Food Market 2013 is a Kickstarter Reward event for the San Diegans who supported the launch of the San Diego Public Market project in late 2012 at specific reward levels.
