Good Food Showcase @ The Leichtag Foundation Ranch
Sep 3 @ 2:57 pm – 3:57 pm

The 5th Annual Good Food Showcase is an event to connect buyers with local good food businesses from the San Diego County region.   Over the last four years this annual Showcase has helped connect hundreds of institutional purchasers with dozens of local farms and other producers.  Surveyed buyers from the 2016 Showcase reported purchasing over $120,000 in local and sustainable foods as a result of their attendance.

The Good Food Showcase will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Coastal Roots Farm in Encinitas. Every year the showcase brings growers, distributors, and other good food businesses together with the institutional market to make connections and help expand our local economy and encourage more consumption of fresh, healthy fruits, vegetables, and other good food products. Food and beverages will also be provided.

At the Good Food Showcase we strive to increase the education and awareness of how community well-being is tied to a healthy food system.  By building a stronger market for our local farms and food producers, we are building a healthier community.

  • Hear national trends and align San Diego’s actions
  • Network and collaborate across sectors
  • Strategize to advance policies and actions forward in San Diego
