We will re-open to the public in our new home in the heart of the neighborhood of South Park in central San Diego. The new Eclipse Chocolate Bar & Bistro has many surprises in store for everyone including:
- Daily service for our Sweet & Savory Brunch
- Full kitchen accommodations for a larger, enhanced brunch menu
- Available grilled panini & seasonal soup menu for all hours of operation

Of course, our eight Platinum Ticket Bearers will compete to see who wins our LIFETIME SUPPLY OF CHOCOLATE, but many other prizes & awards will be given out throughout the day including a raffle that runs from 12-6pm. We’ll be drawing winners all day long for fun prizes & the winner of our costume contest will receive a one year supply of chocolate bars ($1000 value)! In total, we’ve got over $25,000 of delicious prizes to award. So come hungry, dressed as your favorite character from Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, & ready to dive into a complete day of indulgence.

Wine and Cheese Pairing Class with SFUSD!6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

You love wine. You love cheese. You love enjoying them together. Have you ever wondered why certain cheeses pair so exquisitely with certain wines? This is the focus of our next class, to be held at the new wine and craft beer bar NEXT DOOR near La Mesa. Robert Graff of local cheese haven Venissimo and wine expert Paul Cheyne will be on hand to talk to us more about the complimentary taste profiles of some of our favorite cheeses and wines. Included will be four tastes of each, as well as materials to take home.

‘Japanese Farm Food’ Book Signing Event11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Nancy Singleton Hachisu will be featured at the next Good Earth/Great Chefs Series at the Chino Farm. Nancy Hachisu is the author of the new cookbook Japanese Farm Food. The event will also feature a cooking demonstration and tasting by Chef Singleton Hachisu, featuring ingredients from the farm.

Join local chefs and farmers on Sunday afternoon, February 10, for a Taste of the Market at the new San Diego Public Market, providing a look at some of the artisan foods and dining experiences that will occupy the market later this year.

Enjoy live music and tours of the 92,000 square foot market property and support the creation of San Diego’s own Public Market.
San Diego’s full time, permanent market (think Pike Place, Redding Terminal Market or La Boqueria…but better) will launch the middle of this year, filling a high-ceilinged former boiler factory with farm fresh produce and eggs, fish and meats, dining adventures, cheese making, salume curing, tortilla slinging, chocolate tempering, coffee roasting, bread baking and more.

San Diego Latino Film Festival9:30 pm – 10:30 pm
San Diego’s proximity to Mexico makes it a natural venue for this prestigious eleven-day film festival, now celebrating its 20th year, focusing on works by Latinos or about the Latino experience.
Established in 1993 as a student film festival, the San Diego Latino Film Festival has become one of the larger and well-respected Latino film festivals in the country. Over 160 films and videos from across Latin America and the United States will be screened at the UltraStar Cinemas at Hazard Center in Mission Valley. Directors, actors, and audience members from around the globe will descend on San Diego for the festival.
A number of showcases help guide attendees through the diverse array of films being shown, for example CineGay shows gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender films, while Documania shows documentaries.
