You are invited to attend the 4th Annual Lifestyles INFOCUS Fundraising & Silent Auction Fall Festival of Forks & Corks at the Bernardo Winery.
This annual event features Unique Foods & Tastemakers, Fine Wines & Microbrews, Chocolatiers, Dessert Specialties, Relaxation Spa & Holistic Services, Silent Auction, Raffle Drawings and live entertainment! A portion of the proceeds will benefit the San Diego Children’s Museum, a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to stimulate imagination, creativity and critical thinking in children and families through inventive and engaging experiences with contemporary art.

−Celebrate Dia De Los Muertos and Local Food in Tecate, Mexico!12:30 pm – 8:00 pm

2 PM arrive at Parque Profesor in Tecate, Mexico where you will experience the colorful and richly symbolic celebration of Dia De Los Muertos, Tecate style. Altars to the departed will be displayed as well as dance, theater and musical performances. There will be vendors selling traditional snacks and beverages and regional handicrafts.
5-730 PM Dinner at El Lugar De Nos, where you will be treated to an unforgettable meal featuring local ingredients prepared by Mariela Manzano, former Chef at Rancho La Puerta, and her extraordinary culinary team. Dinner features wine from the Tecate area. Locally made cheeses and preserves from Alma Santana Melero of Valle 34 will be offered during dinner and available for sale to take home.
8 PM Depart for San Diego with 9 PM arrival time.
PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE A VALID US PASSPORT TO RETURN TO THE US FROM MEXICO.
Tickets are $95 per person and include all transportation, entertainment, dinner and wine. Buses are air-conditioned and are equipped with toilet facilities. −La Plancha Pop-Up Dinner: Celebration of Baja & Tequila Tasting6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
A unique collaboration of Baja and San Diego chefs to include Chad White of Plancha Baja Med, Javier Plascencia of Mision 19 and Jason Knibb of Nine-Ten. Feast upon 6 uniquely styled courses with handpicked tequila pairings selected by Marcela Valladolid of Hacienda de la Flor and Food Network’s Mexican Made Easy. The Plancha Baja Med tagline is “It’s like a high 5 in the mouth” and with this line up of chefs, it promises to do just that.
The term plancha is Spanish for “iron” and is the type of griddle used in Mexican cooking, similar to a flat top grill. “Baja Med” refers to the culinary movement where Mexican, Mediterranean and Asian cuisine are fused together to create one mouthwatering flavor explosion. Chef Chad White began a journey of pop-up dinners in this style, where he is able to take creative liberty to cook what he wants, however he wants, wherever he wants. The sky is the limit. Now’s your chance to take part in the La Plancha experience.
