The much anticipated “I LOVE POKE” Food Festival and Competition returns to San Diego for the fourth year in a row.
If you love poke, then you don’t want to miss out as San Diego’s most popular chefs and cooks compete for the bragging rights of “BEST POKE.” With your price of admission you get a taste of each chefs creation.
In addition to all the onolicious poke that you’ll get to sample, 15 other restaurants and food brands will be giving you a taste of their Asian/Hawaiian infused menu items and food products. All together that’s 30 different restaurants bringing you the best in San Diego’s Island styled grinds.

Loving Local Music & Local Food is a community driven benefit supporting the future of jazz in San Diego. This special afternoon brings together community partners working to shine a light on simple, sustainable, and diverse food and music.

4:00p | Cocktail & appetizer reception, silent auction, music and dancing! (3:30 VIP early arrival)
5:45p | Decadent Four Course Dinner on the Waterfront enjoying more musical entertainment.

Tickets are available for VIP and general donor admission, and can be made for individuals or entire tables . The general donor ticket features the following:
- Welcome Cocktail and two drink tickets.
- Hosted Appetizers prepared by Chef Sara Polczynski of Blind Burro and Chef Miguel Valdez of The Wellington Steak & Martini Lounge
- Four course sit down dinner prepared by Green Truck, Chef Nick Brune of Local Habit & Adam Hiner of Eco-Caters, Chef Tommy Frioli of Sea Rocket Bistro & Chef Matt Gordon of Urban Solace.

The 2nd annual Loving Local Music & Local Food event will raise awareness and much needed finances for the education programs supported by Jazz88.3. Jazz88.3 supports the following programs in education for students: Music Matters Instrument Drive, the Summer Jazz Workshops at Francis Parker, The Future of Jazz program of Mission Bay High School, Jazz an American Art Form for Young Audiences, and more.
